:: STRIPED PHANTERA

Personality: Striped Phanteras are always focused on the present and has a hard time committing themselves to a long-term goal or relationship. They sometimes look down on those who study and learn at the cost of the present. Although they might not want to spend their time studying, they are very curious and are likely to investigate if it does not require longer periods of time to examine. They are very solitary and very independent.

Physical Description: Striped Phanteras are 5 to 6 feet tall feline humanoids with a striped fur pattern.

Relations: The striped phantera treat others as they are treated by them and are more likely to judge people as individuals than by race.

Alignment: The striped phantera is very focused on the present and will try to make the best of it making them very chaotic in nature. Striped phanteras favors to stay neutral when it comes to good or evil.

Language: The phanteran language is spoken mostly by the uses of hisses and roars. The written language is mostly based on straight lines.

Male Names: Khi’tar, Fe’leh, Ken’doh, Ken’nee

Female Names: Em’ruh, Mhi’saa, Sih’dah, Jah’shi, Re’nee

Family Names: Striped phanteras has almost no relationship with family as soon as they are old enough to live on their own. Therefore, Striped Phanteras seldom use family names.

Adventures: Their curiosity also often inspires one to wander and see what’s on the other side of the next hill.

:: New Race Traits

:: +1 Dexterity, +1 Strength, -2 Charisma, -2 Intelligence. The striped phantera is agile and strong, but its solitary nature makes them less equipped to influence others. They are by no means unattractive or hideous. They also lack interest in the past and doesn’t do any long-term studying. Therefore the striped phantera lacks lore and most knowledge, but they are perfectly able to resonate and have an IQ on the same level as most other races.
:: Low-light Vision: The Striped Phantera can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination can. They retain the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
:: +2 racial bonus on Climb and Move Silently checks.
:: Striped Phanteras have keen senses which gives them +4 to listen checks, but they also suffer a -2 to all saves vs. sound based attacks.
:: Striped Phanteras have several natural attacks. Their bite inflicts 1d6 points of damage and has a x2 critical modifier. Their front claws deal 1d4 points of damage each with a threat range of 19-20 and a x2 critical modifier. Their foot claws deal 1d5 points of damage each with a x3 critical modifier. When using these natural attacks, a Striped Phantera is not considered unarmed. The front and foot claws are retractable.
:: Striped Phanteras may purchase the Multiattack feat.
:: Striped Phanteras are very focused on the present, always ready for what they might encounter. Therefore the Striped Phantera automatically has the Alertness feat.
:: Striped Phanteras automatically has the Blind Fighting feat because of their whiskers. If their whiskers are ever severed, they lose the Blind Fighting feat until the whiskers grow back (or the damage is healed through magical means). Burnt or severed Spotted Phantera whiskers regrow in (1d4 - Constitution Bonus, minimum 1) weeks.
:: Medium-size: As Medium-size creatures, Striped Phanteras have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
:: Striped Phantera base speed is 30 feet.
:: Automatic Languages: Common and Phanteran. Bonus Languages: Elven, Draconic, Gnoll, Orc, Sylvan, Halfling and Undercommon.
:: Favored Class: Barbarian.
