Casting Time: 2 Area of Effect: Special Saving Throw: Neg. This spells enables the priest to make any metal surface (iron, steel, bronze, etc.) magnetized, causing metal missile weapons such as daggers and axes to automatically attract towards the affected surface. If the desired surface is a creature's metal armor, the attacker gains a +4 bonus to hit with a metal weapon, and an additional +2 to damage from the intensity of the blow. Once the weapon has struck the target, it remains magnetized to the surface until forceably removed by a Strength check. A character attempting to remove the weapon may take no other action in that round. The material components for this spell are the priest's holy symbol and a handful of finely powdered lodestone. Silent Alarm (Wiz 2) (Abjuration, Evocation) Range: 10 yds. Components: V, S, M Duration: 4 hrs. + 1/2 hr./level Casting Time: 2 Area of Effect: Up to 40ft. cube Saving Throw: None This spell functions exactly like its 1st-level predecessor, except that when triggered, the wizard who cast it is secretly informed of its triggering, and no audible shrill of sound is emitted to the intruder. The material components are a tiny chipped bell and a thin copper wire. Stonebones (Wiz 2) (Alteration, Necromancy) Range: 30 yds. Components: V, S, M Duration: 1 rd./level Casting Time: 2 Area of Effect: 1 creature Saving Throw: Neg. This spell causes a creatures bones to become extremely heavy, reducing movement and coordination. A character's movement slows to 1/4 normal and his Dexterity is reduced to 5. Further, he suffers all the ill-effects of having a Dex of 5, including penalties to AC and Reaction. The material components for this spell are a small stone or rock and a bone from a creature's skeleton. Doppleganger of Death (Wiz 5) (Illusion/ Phantasm) Range: 10 yds./level Components: V, S Duration: Special Casting Time: 5 Area of Effect: Special Saving Throw: None This devious spell creates an exact duplicate of a specific creature, including hit points, equipment, and all combat statistics. The creature must be seen by the caster. The duplicate materializes before the victim but does nothing. If the victim attempts to do it harm, the victim as well as the duplicate receive the harmful affect. At this point the doppleganger launches into a rage and begins attacking the victim, without regard to its own personal safety; thus damage to the victim is also incurred upon the doppleganger. This continues round after round until either the doppleganger is dispelled, banished, or it and the victim are dead. Attacking the caster has no effect on the duplicate. Rejuvenation (Pr 3) Sphere: Healing Range: 20 yds/level Components: V, S, M Duration: 1 rd./level Casting Time: 3 Area of Effect: One creature Saving Throw: None This spell enables weary heroes to recover hit points in battle at a rate of 1d4 HP per round, for the duration of the spell.
